Classification of stripping agent

There are many types of strippers produced by stripper manufacturers. In terms of chemical composition, strippers can be divided into:

  1) Polymer wax: It is a modified polymer wax that is emulsified to form an emulsion with a particle size of 10-100nm. The products are cationic, anionic, and nonionic. The characteristics are: good adsorption to paper fibers, less loss, and the paper surface can increase the brightness.

  2) Mineral oil: It is a kind of alkane such as machine oil, which can be directly coated or formulated into emulsion spraying. It is characterized by good peeling effect and can be used in high-speed paper machines.

  3) Vegetable oil: Like mineral oil, it can be applied directly, or it can be formulated into emulsion for application. Not as effective as mineral oil.

  4) Silicone: Silicone is a type of peeling with superior performance and has a certain degree of slippage, but it may cause oil spots due to poor dispersion and is relatively expensive.

5) Polyether: Polyether is produced by connecting low molecular alcohol with a certain amount of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. It is easier to disperse in various coatings, and the ratio of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide can be adjusted. Control product peelability and dispersion.

  6) Others: Many organic compounds can be used as stripping agents, such as some double-long-chain quaternary ammonium salts or imidazoline softeners.
